FAQ for first day of each Season
Q: What time does the session start?
Classes begins at 9am sharp. For the first class, players need to arrive 15-20 minutes early to have uniform and registration formalities completed.
Q: What forms should I bring?
Please remember to bring your registration forms and release forms on the first day of the season. These forms were available when you registered. If you did not print them then, you can go back to the registration site, login, and find them under ‘Players in Account’. Click on your child’s name and then click ‘Forms’. You will see two forms labeled ‘Liability Release’ and ‘Consent to Treat’. Please print out and sign.
Some internet browsers will not allow you to view these forms. If that is the case, please let us know and we will have extra forms for you to sign when you arrive for check-in on the field.
Q: Is parking available?
All Sunday classes are held at the Hillsdale High School football field. There is a parking lot off of Alameda de Las Pulgas between 31st Ave and West Hillsdale Blvd. If you park on 31st street please respect our neighbors and park on the school side of 31st. Additional parking is available in the parking lot on 31st close to the grass field, or on Alameda de Las Pulgas.
Q: What items should I bring?
Water, shin guards, cleats/athletic shoes. We will provide you a t-shirt on your first day that your child should then wear to all the classes. Shin guards and cleats are optional for Grasshoppies.
Q: What is the field and track usage policy?
Please note that we are designated to use the field but the track is used by the entire community. Please respect this when you enter/exit the field, and during the practice session. This includes lingering on the track in large groups, other kids playing on it, and other things that may be disruptive to its intended use.
