We are very pleased to welcome Fiona O’Sullivan to Force North. Fiona brings a wealth of knowledge to our Club, and has been a member of the local soccer scene since her youth.
She grew up in Marin and was a four year varsity player for Sir Francis Drake HS. She was the team’s top scorer three times, and the league top scorer twice. She still holds the record for career goals at the school. Fiona attended USF, where she was the team’s top scorer in 2006, and in her senior year was a Captain and the team’s top goal scorer. She has had an extensive career playing professionally and internationally. She played for the 2010 WPSL California Storm alongside Brandi Chastain, she played for seven years internationally, including Sweden, France, Germany and England and she played for the Irish National Team, including the 2011 World Cup, where she scored six goals in five games.
Fiona also has local coaching experience both as an Assistant Coach for the USF Dons, and local Club soccer as well. In addition to coaching, she will also be able to give our players a first hand view of how the college recruiting process works, and the rigors of playing College Soccer, especially from the view of the female athlete. This is a unique set of skills that we are fortunate to have.
Coach Fiona will be supporting our Club in a number of areas:
We are very excited to have her as a part of our Club!
